Combat begins when you attack or are attacked by an enemy.

Select a weapon with or before attacking an enemy.

Number of Uses
Weapons that have a limited number of uses will break after the last use.
Combat Screen
The attacking unit attacks first, and the attacked unit second. In some cases, a unit may attack twice or a support unit (p. 13) may attack as well.
