2Press Select and scroll to a set of connection settings. For example: Set 1.

3Press Options and scroll to Edit.

4Scroll to each of the settings and enter information as shown below. Make all the required settings one by one. For appropriate settings, contact your network operator or service provider.

•Homepage: Enter the homepage address of the WAP service you want to use and press OK.

•Connection type: Scroll to Continuous or Temporary and press Select.

•Connection security: Scroll to On or Off and press Select.

When the connection security is on, the phone tries to use a secure connection with the WAP service. If a secure connection is not available, the connection will not be made. If you want to connect anyway with a non-secure connection, set the connection security to Off.

•Dial-up number: Enter the number and press OK.

•IP address: Enter the address and press OK.

•Authentication type: Scroll to Secure or Normal and press Select.

•Data call type: Scroll to Analog or ISDN and press Select.

15 • User name: Enter the user name and password and press OK.

•Password: Enter your password and press OK.

5After you have made all the required settings, you can change the

set’s name. Press and then Options, scroll to Rename, and press Select. Enter the name and press OK.

Activate the settings

1Press Menu 11, scroll to Settings and press Select. Connection settings appears.

2Press Select and scroll to the appropriate set. For example: Set 1
