6.Measure your heartrate if desired.
Before using the handgrip pulse sensor, remove the sheets of clear plastic from the metal contacts on the pulse bar. In addition, make sure that your hands are clean.

Avoid moving |

your hands. When your pulse is detected, the heart symbol beside the Calories/Pulse display will flash and then your heart rate will be shown. For the most accurate heart rate reading, continue to hold the contacts for about 15 seconds.
7. Turn on the fan if desired.
To turn on the fan at low speed, press the Fan button; the word “LOW” will appear in the matrix for a few seconds. To
turn on the fan at high speed, press the button a second time; the word “HIGH” will appear in the matrix. To select the auto mode, press the button again; the word “AUTO” will appear in the matrix. When the auto mode is selected, the speed of the fan will automatically increase and decrease as the speed of the walking belt increases and decreases.
To turn off the fan, press the Fan button again, the word “OFF” will appear in the matrix. Note: If the fan is left on when the walking belt is stopped, the fan will automatically turn off after a few minutes.
8.When you are finished exercising, remove the key from the console.
Step onto the foot rails, press the Stop button, and adjust the incline of the treadmill to the lowest setting. The incline must be at the lowest setting or you may damage the treadmill when you fold it to the storage position. Next, remove the key from the console and put it in a secure place.
When you are finished using the treadmill, switch the reset/off circuit breaker to the “off” position and unplug the power cord. IMPORTANT: If you do not do this, the treadmill’s electrical components may wear prematurely.
