Voice Memos: Recording and Playback

Use the camera’s built-in microphone to record voice memos for pictures.

Recording Voice Memos

1 Choose the desired picture from full-frame playback (A30) or thumbnail playback (A57) and press the dbutton.

The playback menu is displayed.

2 Use the rotary multi selector to choose EVoice memo and press the kbutton.

The screen for recording a voice memo will be displayed.

Exit

3 Press and hold the kbutton to record voice memo.

Recording ends after 20 seconds or when the k button is released.

Do not touch the built-in microphone during recording.

During recording, oand pblink in the monitor.

When recording ends, the voice memo playback screen is displayed. Follow step 3 of “Playing Voice Memos” (A 68) to playback the voice memo.

Press the d button before or after recording a voice memo to return to full-frame playback.
