DVD Setup Menu - Speaker

Speaker Setup Menu

With the unit in DVD mode, press Area A to display the MAIN menu.

Press DVD Setup to access the DVD setup menu.

Press the SPEAKER button to access the following menus:

	Settings	Default	Options		Function
	Speaker Mode	DownMix	Full 6CH	6-channel mode
DownMix			2-channel mode. The selections below will not be
				available when using this mode.
	Front*	Large	Large	Use when front speakers have good bass output.
			Small	Use when front speakers do not have good bass output
			Large	Use when rear speakers have good bass output
	Surround*	Large	Small	Use when rear speakers do not have good bass output
			None	Use when rear speakers are not present
	Subwoofer*	None	Present	Use when subwoofer is present
			None	Use when subwoofer is not present
			Large	Use when center speaker has good bass output
	Center*	None	Small	Use when center speaker does not have good bass
				output
			None	Use when a center speaker is not present
Speaker Selection				*Full 6CH mode must be selected to adjust the speaker size
	Selecting LARGE for the multi-channel speaker option will give
					Low Pass	High Pass
	a full range output. Selecting SMALL for the multi-channel
					80 Hz	90 Hz
	speaker option will activate a high pass filter whose crossover is
	dependent on the sub-woofer low pass frequency. For example,				120 Hz	135Hz
	if the subwoofer low pass filter is set to 80Hz, then the high
					160Hz	180Hz
	pass SMALL speaker crossover will be set to 90Hz.
