iPrint is included in NetWare 6 and is
Novell’s next generation of printing
software. It is Novell’s implementation of
IPP (Internet Printing Protocol). iPrint allows
users to install, manage and print to
printers through Web browsers regardless
of where the printer is physically located or
whether they know the printer’s network
address. iPrint runs on top of Novell
Distributed Print Services (NDPS) and provides the following functionality:
> Global access to printers.
> Customizable view of any print environment.
> Flexible print deployment configurations.
> Secure printing.
The OkiLAN 7120e does not require any custom configuration for iPrint. To
enable and configure the iPrint service on your network, please refer to
your Novell NetWare 6 documentation.
