BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

Always use the batteries correctly. Fluid leakage, heat generation or explosion may occur if the batteries are used incorrectly. When the batteries are replaced, be sure the + and - polarity positions are correct.

Some batteries are of the same sizes but have different voltages.

Note the difference between dry type and rechargeable batteries. Use LR03 or R03 dry type batteries.

When there is fluid leakage, carefully wipe off the fluid from the battery compartment and then insert the batteries.

Remove the batteries when the unit is not used for more than one month.

If a battery is short-circuited, disassembled, charged or thrown into a fire, damage or ignition may occur.

Poor contact may occur if + or - polarity symbols are obscured with oil or sweat. Wipe off the batteries with a clean cloth before use.

Be sure to bring extra batteries if the unit will be used for long periods of time, i.e. lengthy speeches or lectures.
