Recording

The voice recorder has five folders ([&] to [*]) in which recorded files can be saved. These folders provide a handy way to sort recordings into separate categories (such as business and leisure).

Basic recording procedure

1Press the +/–, 0or 9 button in the [Home] screen and select [Recorder], then press the `OK button (☞ P.21).

2Select the folder to save the recording in (☞ P.24).

•Each new voice recording file is saved in the selected folder.

3Point the built-in microphone in the direction of the sound to record.

4Press the REC (s) button to start recording.

•The LED indicator light lights, and [K] appears in the display.

5Press the STOP (4) button when you want to stop recording.
