1 Turn on the CDR-201A.

Press the STANDBY/ON button.

The STANDBY indicator turns off.

2 Press the rbutton.

The disc tray opens. Place the disc with the label-side up in the center of the tray.

3 Press the rbutton.

The disc tray closes.

Memo:

•You can also press the nbutton (or the remote controller sbutton) to close it.

•By pressing the rbutton (or the remote controller rOPEN/CLOSE button) in the standby state, the power is automatically turned on. If used in a component system with the R-801A, their power automatically turns on as well.

•When the disc is inserted, the CDR-201A automatically scans the disc and displays the type in the front display.

•The CDR-201A displays information of the disc, including total recording number of tracks and time, and remaining available recording time. Displayed contents may vary depending on the type of disc.

When unrecorded compact discs are inserted, "Blank Disc" appears in the display.
