Connecting to Audio/Video Equipment

Before connecting

•Refer also to the instruction manual of each component to be connected.

•When you connect the DVD Changer Receiver to audio/video equipment, be sure to turn off the power and unplug all the units from the mains before making any connections.

•Digital audio playback from this unit or digital audio signals from a component connected to this unit’s DIGITAL IN jack are output from the DIGITAL OUT jack. However, analog audio signals from a component connected to the TV/LINE or TAPE/CD-R jack is not output from this unit’s DIGITAL OUT.

•About the VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2 jacks/connectors

The video input/output connections are also necessary even if you make the S video input/output connections.

•Connect the plugs securely.

Note

The DIGITAL OPTICAL jacks are provided with protection shutters. The shutter opens when an optical fiber cable is plugged in and closes automatically when the cable is removed.
