When the input source contains the encoded front high or front wide channel, the corresponding speakers output the sound. If there are no surround back speakers, or Powered Zone 2 is being used, Dolby Pro Logic II is used.

Surround back and front wide speakers are not supported. Front high and front wide speakers are not supported.

For the Blu-ray Discs, Dolby Digital is used in a 3.1/5.1-channel speaker system.

AV receiver can input the DSD signal from HDMI IN. Setting the output setting on the player side to PCM might obtain a better sound according to the player. In that case, set the output setting on the player side to PCM.

Depending on the input source, DTS is used.

If there are no surround back speakers, DTS is used.

• This listening mode can be selected only when all the following conditions are satisfied: a.Center speaker is connected.

b.Either of front high or front wide speakers is connected.

Output can be switched between front high or front wide speakers by pressing SP LAYOUT [depending on the “Speaker Config- uration” setting (36)].
