Sound levels

The table describes the sound levels stated in sound pressure level.

Sound pressure level:

Sound pressure level is defined as the sound level, which at an ear level of 1.8 metres, is perceived one metre from the heat pump. Measured in a sound measurement room without echo at an outdoor temperature of +7ºC and 50ºC flow temperature.

Example:

When the heat pump is installed outside with free sound propaga- tion the sound level drops by 6dBa with each doubling of distance.
