2.Within 5 seconds, press TUNING –/HRto change the hour setting or TUNING +/MIN to change the minute setting.

Notes:

•When changing the hour, be sure to set it the correct AM or PM hour.

•To rapidly advance the hour or minute setting, press and hold

TUNING –/HR or TUNING +/MIN.

•If TIME disappears before you finish setting the hour and minute, start again from Step 1.

•When power is disconnected or interrupted, then restored, the last known time flashes on the display. If this happens, reset the time.

INSTALLING BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not supplied) for power. For the best performance and long- est life, we recommend alkaline bat- teries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555.

Caution: Always use fresh batteries of the required size and type.

1.To open the battery compart- ment cover, slide it in the direc- tion of the arrow.

2.Insert the batteries into the com- partment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside.

3. Replace the cover.
