The telescope is packed in two boxes (three for the XT12i),			2
one containing the optical tube assembly and accessories,			1
the other containing the unassembled Dobsonian base (the			1
third box for the XT12i includes the mirror and cell). Be care-

ful unpacking the boxes. We recommend keeping the original
shipping containers. In the event that the telescope needs to			2
be shipped to another location, or returned to Orion for war-
			2
ranty repair, having the proper shipping containers will help
ensure that your telescope will survive the journey intact.			1
Make sure all the parts in the Parts List are present. Be sure			1
to check boxes carefully, as some parts are small. If anything			1
appears to be missing or broken, immediately call Orion Cus-
