2. Pull out the hard disk drive using the plastic tab.

3. Remove the two screws on both sides of the hard disk drive shield.

Optical Disk Drive
To remove the optical disk drive, first remove the battery (see Battery) and then perform the following steps:
1. Release the screw securing the optical disk drive.
