The underline on the setting item denotes the initial setting.
For selecting the type of teletext signals to be recorded.
0: MOJI system
1: NABTS system
This selects the method used to detect the lines in which the
teletext signals are to be recorded.
0: The teletext signals are not recorded.
1: The teletext signals are automatically detected and re-
corded.
2: The lines in which the teletext signals are to be recorded
are selected and set.
<Notes>
• When setting “1 (AUTO)” is selected, it may not be possible
to record the teletext signals in all the lines depending on the
setting of setup menu item No. 800 (ADD LINE).
• When setting “2 (MANU)” is selected and the STOP button is
pressed, operation transfers to the sub-screen, and the
number of recording lines can be selected.
To return from the sub-screen, press the STOP button again.
• The number of lines in which the teletext signals can be
recorded depends on the setting of setup menu item No. 800
(ADD LINE).
This selects the lines in which the teletext signals are to be
recorded.

This selects blanking ON or OFF for the vertical blanking
period of the video signals.
0: Blanking is effected forcibly for all lines.
1: No blanking is effected for any of the lines.
2: Blanking ON or OFF is selected for each line.
<Note>
When setting “2 (MANU)” is selected and the STOP button is
pressed, operation transfers to the sub-screen, and ON or
OFF can be selected for each line. To return from the sub-
screen, press the STOP button again.
