7-8-7 TC/UB

TC MODE	DF	For selecting the TC mode.
	NDF	DF:	Drop frame

UB MODE	USER	For selecting the UB mode.
	TIME	USER:
	DATE	Selects the UB value set in the LCD
	EXT	section.
	TCG	TIME:
	FRM RATE	Selects the local time (hour, minute,
	REGEN	second).
		DATE:
		Selects the local date and time (last 2 digits
		of year, month, date, hour)
		EXT:
		Sets the UB from the TC-IN as the slave.
		The user value is retained if no value can
		be read.)
		TCG:
		Inputs the TCG value unchanged.
		FRM RATE:
		Selects the same camera shooting data
		(frame rate, etc.) as the VAUX UB (VITC
		UB).
		REGEN:
		Reads the value recorded on the tape and
C U F		then continues to record from that value.
VITC UB MODE	USER/EXT	For selecting the VAUX TC (VITC) UB mode.
	TIME	USER/EXT:
	DATE	When EXT is selected as the UB MODE
	TCG	setting, the value concerned applies; with
	FRM RATE	any other setting, the USER value set by
	REGEN	UB is recorded.
		TIME: The local time (in hours, minutes and
			seconds) is selected.
		DATE: The local date (last 2 digits of AD
			year, month, day and hours) is
			selected.
		TCG:	The TCG value is used as is for UB.
		FRM RATE:
		The same shooting information (frame
		rate, etc.) of the camera as for VAUX UB
		(VITC UB) is selected.
		REGEN: The value recorded on the tape is
C U F			read and recorded continuously.
TCG SET HOLD	ON	For selecting ON or OFF for the function that
	OFF	without fail uses what was previously set as
		the TCG value for recording when the TCG
		value had been set before the power was
		turned off and recording was then performed
C U F		after the power was turned back on again.
FIRST REC TC	REGEN	For selecting whether or not to regenerate the
	PRESET	time code as the value on the tape during the
		first recording after the power was turned on,
		the cassette was inserted or a playback or
C U F		search operation was performed.

P.OFF LCD	ON	For selecting whether or not to set the LCD’s
DISPLAY	OFF	time code and display its count while the
		power is off.
		ON: The time code can be set and
		displayed even while the power is off.
		OFF: While the power is off, the power to the
		LCD section is turned off, and the time
C U F		code can be neither set nor displayed.
TC OUT	TCG	For selecting the TC OUT output.
	TCG/TCR	TCG: The time code generator value is
		always output.
		TCG/TCR: The time code generator value is
		output with the E-E setting and the
		time code reader value is output with
C U F		the playback mode.
