The first 10 seconds of each track/file is played in sequence. Press [4] (SCAN). Track/file number blinks.
Press again to cancel.
Random play
All the available tracks/files are played in a random sequence.
Press [6] (RANDOM).

Folder scan play (MP3/WMA)
From the next folder, the first 10 seconds of the first file in each folder is played in sequence.
Hold down [4] (SCAN) for more than 2 seconds.
