If the clock setting menu appears after Auto-Setup

finishes (“Automatic” function is not available in Australia. l 48)

1)Press [3, 4, 2, 1] to set the correct time and date.

2)Press [ENTER] to conclude the setting.

To confirm that stations have been tuned correctly (l 46, 47)

To restart Auto-Setup (l 47).

You can also use the following method to restart Auto-Setup. When the unit is on and stopped.

Press and hold down [W, CH] and [CH, X] on the DVD main unit simultaneously for about 5 seconds.

All the settings except for the ratings level including the password and time settings return to the factory preset. The timer recording programmes are also cancelled.

Hint for Preset Download and Auto-Setup

If you select “Schweiz”, “Suisse”, or “Svizzera” in the Country setting menu, another menu appears to let you set “Power Save” to “On”. In this setting, the unit’s power consumption is minimized when it is turned to standby.
