Settings Fax/Email 4 Chapter

Fax Parameters

0 - 39	00	Print FaxParameterList	Print a fax parameter list.	Stop, Start	Start
			To cancel printing the fax
			parameter list, press “Stop” and
			“OK”.
			While processing the
			cancellation, panel operation is
			denied, and an error beep is
			produced.
			The feeding paper(s) will be
			ejected before completing the
			above cancellation operation.
			If setting a parameter, an
			asterisk mark (*) will be added
			before the parameter number.
	01	Density (HOME)	Set the default density according	-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3	0
			to the most-used original.
	02	Resolution (HOME)	Set the default resolution	STD, Fine, S-Fine	Fine
			according to the most-used
			original.
			z When installing the optional
			Email / Fax, the standard
			setting can be changed.
	03	Original (HOME)	Set the default of original type	Text,	Text
			according to the most-used	Txt/Pht (Text/Photo),
			original.	Photo
	04	Stamp (HOME)	When set to “On”, all	Off, On	Off
			successfully transmitted
			originals are stamped (Memory
			or Direct transmission).
			In order Not to stamp the
			Memory transmitted originals,
			set “28 Stamp At Memory XMT”
			to “Invalid”.
	05	Memory (HOME)	Set the default for memory	Off, On	On
			transmission.
			When set to “Off”, originals are
			transmitted directly without
			storing into memory first.
	06	Dialing Method	Select a dialing method	Tone, Pulse	Tone
			according to your telephone line.
