I fully charged the batteries, but
battery level does not increase or
the operating time seems to be
shorter.
LClean the battery ends (S, T) and the charge
contacts with a dry cloth and charge again.
LIt is time to replace the batteries (page 8).

w is flashing. LThe handset is too far from the base unit. Move
closer.
LThe base unit’s AC adaptor is not properly
connected. Reconnect AC adaptor to the base unit.
LThe handset is not registered to the base unit.
Register it (page 28).
Noise is heard, sound cuts in and
out.
LYou are using the handset or base unit in an area
with high electrical interference. Re-position the
base unit and use the handset away from sources of
interference.
LMove closer to the base unit.
LIf you use a DSL/ADSL service, we recommend
connecting a DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit
and the telephone line jack. Contact your DSL/ADSL
provider for details.
LUnplug the base unit’s AC adaptor to reset the unit
and turn off the handset. Reconnect the adaptor, turn
on the handset and try again.
The handset does not ring. LThe ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer volume
(page 13).
I cannot make a call. LThe dialling mode may be set incorrectly. Change
the setting (page 11).
LThe handset is too far from the base unit. Move
closer and try again.
LAnother unit is in use.*1 Wait and try again later.
