Cleaning Agitator

➢ Clean agitator after every five uses and every time the belt is replaced.

➢ Remove lower plate.

➢ Cut off any carpet pile and lint entangled around agitator with a pair of scissors.

➢ Remove agitator.

➢ Remove any string or debris located on the end caps, washers or agitator shaft.

➢ Reinstall agitator and lower plate.

➢Disconnect power cord from electrical outlet.

➢Pry out light lens at slot by inserting screwdriver into slot, pushing down on the lens and rotating the screwdriver handle toward unit.

➢Remove the light bulb by pulling straight out.

CAUTION

Do not use a bulb rated over 9W (15V). During extended use, heat from the bulb could overheat surrounding plastic parts.

➢To replace the light bulb carefully insert securely into slot. Replace lens cover by inserting tabs.

➢Secure light lens by snapping into place.
