To start automatic tuning, press and hold [6, 5] until the frequency starts scrolling. Tuning stops when a station is found.

Up to 30 stations can be set in each band, FM and AM.

1Press [FM/AM] to select “FM” or “AM”.

A station previously stored is overwritten when another station is stored in the same channel preset.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 to set other stations.

Press [FM MODE] to display “MONO”.

The mode is also canceled when you change the frequency. This setting can be preset for each broadcasting station. When

“MONO” appears follow procedures 3 and 4 in “Presetting stations manually” (> above).

When “AM” is selected

Press [AM BP] to select “AM BP1” or “AM BP2” that receives good reception.

Each time you press the button:

e.g., “AM BP1” is selected.

AM BP1(.AM BP2 (BP=Beat Proof)

FM frequency step

Main unit only

The step is factory-set to 0.2-MHz (200-kHz), but you can change it to receive broadcasts allocated in 0.1-MHz (100-kHz) steps.

1Press [SELECTOR] to select “FM”.

2 Press and hold [SELECTOR].

After a few seconds the display changes to show the current minimum frequency. Continue to hold the button down. The minimum frequency changes and the step is changed.

To return to the original step, repeat steps 1 and 2.

After changing the setting, previously preset frequencies will be cleared. Preset them again.
