Open the lens cover before turning the unit on. (l 9)

1 Change the mode to and open the LCD monitor.

2 Press the recording start/stop button to start recording.

When you begin recording, ; changes to ¥.

While recording is in progress, the recording will not stop even if the LCD monitor is closed.

3 Press the recording start/stop button again to pause recording.

BRemaining time left for recording (When the remaining time is less than

1minute, [R 0h00m] flashes red.)

C Recording time elapsed

Each time the unit is put into recording pause, the counter display will be reset to “0h00m00s”.

Still pictures can be recorded while recording the motion picture.

The images recorded between pressing the recording start/stop button to start recording and pressing it again to pause recording become one scene.

The scene is automatically divided when the recorded data exceeds 1.9 GB. (The recording will continue.)

Normal recording mode:

SD CARD

Maximum number of recordable scenes: 9801

Maximum number of different dates: 99

(In the case of SD cards it is the maximum number of recordable scenes per card.) Built-in Memory/HDD

SDR-T50 / SDR-H85

Maximum number of recordable scenes: 98901

Maximum number of different dates: 999

Long recording mode:

Maximum number of recordable scenes: 89100

Maximum number of different dates: 99

When either of them reaches to the maximum limit, additional scenes cannot be recorded.
