Turning On the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E

STANDBY/ON STANDBY/ON

POWER	Canadian model
1	Set the POWER switch to the ON position ( ).
	The STANDBY indicator lights up.
	(Ignore this step if you have the Canadian model.)

2STANDBY/ONPress the [STANDBY/ON] button.

The display light ups and the STANDBY indicator goes off.

The very first time you turn on the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E, the Initial Setup menu appears onscreen (see page 43).

Press the [STANDBY/ON] button again to enter Standby.

The DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E must be in Standby mode for this procedure to work.

1		MODE	Press the [DVD] MODE button to select DVD mode.
	DVD		This is the mode for controlling the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E.

2ON

Press the [ON] button.

To set the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E to Standby, press the [STANDBY] button.
