Turn off all components before making any connections.

You can also connect the AC power supply cord to the AC outlet on a receiver or amplifier.
Connection to a digital amplifier
Remove the dust cap before use. If the terminal is not going to be used, reattach the dust cap to prevent exposure to dust.
