Ejecting the Battery

Slide and hold the Battery Eject Lever 2 toward the direction shown by the arrow 1 and slide the battery to eject 2.

CAUTION

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.

Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.

Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

When recharging, turn off the power of the printer. Remove the battery if the printer is left unused for a

long time.

When the battery is fully charged, up to 24 sheets can be printed in succession when the ambient temperature is 77 degrees F/25 degrees C.

Typical charging time to fully charge the battery is about 170 minutes (68 degrees F/20 degrees C and humidity 60 %). Higher or lower ambient temperature may cause a variation in the actual

charging time.

When the Power Lamp flashes more quickly or slowly (or turns off), some abnormality may have occurred. Refer to “State of Power Lamp While Charging” on page 46.
