Inserting Battery into Remote Controller (Not included with VDR-M53PP)

Insert the provided button type battery into remote controller.
1Pull the battery holder out towards yourself while
pressing a thin rod or other object into the PUSH
hole.
2Insert the button type battery with the positive R
terminal facing down.
3Slide the battery holder to close it.
Note:
The life of the button type battery is approximately one year.
If the battery is discharged, no operation is possible with
remote controller. Replace the battery.

Removing Battery from Remote Controller

1Pull the battery holder out towards yourself while
pressing a thin rod or other object into the PUSH
hole.
Warning:
KEEP THE BATTERY AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND
PETS.
IF SWALLOWED CONSULT A PHYSICIAN
IMMEDIATELY FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT.
BATTERY MAY EXPLODE IF NOT HANDLED
PROPERLY. DO NOT RECHARGE, DISASSEMBLE OR
DISPOSE OF IN FIRE.
Note:
Dispose of battery safely in accordance with local laws.
Do not dispose of in fire.
Do not short circuit the battery.
Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers.
Keep the battery in a dark, cool, dry place.
Make sure that none of the remote control buttons are left
pressed down as this will cause the battery to discharge
rapidly.
Battery holder
Warning:
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type
recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
Discard used batteries according to manufacturer’s
instructions. Risk of fire, explosion and burns. Do not
recharge, disassemble, heat above 212°F (100°C) or
inclnerate. Keep the Button-Type battery out of the
reach of children. Never put Button-Type battery in
mouth. If swallowed, call your doctor.
