Hay que asegurarse que el voltaje utilizado es el mismo impreso en la parte trasera del amplificador. Los daños que resulten del uso del voltaje equivocado no están cubiertos por ninguna garantía.

Nota: Siempre apaga y desconecta el amplificador de la fuente de corriente antes de llevar a cabo cualquier conexión de audio. También, como precaución adicional, se recomienda tener los atenuadores hasta abajo durante el encendido.

Siempre es una buena idea tener los controles de ganancia abajo durante el encendido para prevenir daños a los parlantes si hubiera una señal muy alta en la entrada. Ya sea que los compres, o que los hagas, siempre hay que usar conectadores de la mejor calidad, así como cables de entrada y para los parlantes, así como buena técnica para soldar, para asegurar una operación sin problemas. La mayoría de los problemas intermitentes tiene que ver con cables de baja calidad.

Consulta la Tabla de Tamaños de Cables (abajo) para determinar los tamaños adecuados de diferentes impedancias y longitudes de cable. Recuerda que la resistencia de los cables le roba poder al amplificador de dos maneras: poder perdido directamente a la resistencia (pérdida I2R), y por la atenuación de la impedancia de la carga total.
