HOW TO REPLACE A RECORDER’S RAID 1 DRIVE
Before you replace a failed drive, you must open the Promise Array Management Utility to verify which drive has failed.
To open the Promise Array Management Utility:
1. Go to Start > Programs > Promise Array Management > Remote Monitoring Utility. The following window appears.

2. Right-click on the desired recorder name and select Login. (The default recorder name is Pelco 1.) The following window
appears. The Username is administrator and the Password is 1234.

3. Click OK.
4. Double-click PELCO1 to expand the recorder tree.
