1	SD Memory Card	Battery/card cover

The image or recorded sound is recorded on the SD Memory Card. Be sure the camera is turned off before inserting or removing the SD Memory Card.

Turn off the camera before setting or removing the card.

Wipe away water or dirt from the camera with a dry cloth before setting or removing the card.

Do not set or remove the card with wet or dirty hands.

1 Slide the battery/card cover to the direction of the arrow, and flip open.

2 With the label (or 2 symbol) of the SD Memory Card toward the lens, insert the card into the card slot until the card clicks.

3 Close the battery/card cover.

When removing the card, press down on the card in the direction of the arrow. When the card pops out slightly, pull it out of the card slot.

The number of images that can be captured varies according to the capacity of the SD Memory Card, the recorded image size, and image quality (1p.17).

•If the battery/card cover is opened when the camera is on, the camera is automatically turned off.

•If the battery/card cover is opened while saving an image, the save is interrupted (the image is not saved).
