Changing the Frame Rate When Taking Moving4Pictures

Pictures Taking

You can select a frame rate of 15 fps or 30 fps (frames per second). A frame rate of 30 fps yields twice the number of frames as a frame rate 15 fps, resulting in smoother moving images. However, because image size also doubles at 30 fps, less time is available for shooting.

1 Press the MENU button in Capture mode.

The [A Rec. Mode] menu will be displayed.

2 Select [Movie] on the [A Rec. Mode] menu. 3 Press the four-way controller (5).

Use the high speed type (10 MB/S) SD memory card when taking moving pictures after selecting 640 x 480 pixels of p.64 and 30 fps frame rate. If the normal type (2 MB/S) card is used, the taking moving picture will stop halfway.
