Procedure

1 Turn on the power switch.

2Press the flash mode button (MODE) to display(M) (1/xx) on the LCD panel.You can set the flash output from 1/1 to 1/64. See page 18.

3Set the zoom position. (The setting method differs according to your camera and lens. Refer

4 to page 21.)Example:

If the flash zoom position is 50mm, subject distance (between the AF540FGZ and subject) is 4 m, and sensitivity is ISO 100, the calculation will be as follows:

With flash output (1/1), the Guide No. will be 45 (according to the Guide No. table).

Aperture = Guide No. 45 / Subject distance 4 m =11.25 Approx. 11 (f/Stop)Refer to page 82 for the guide number table.
