When the Wrong Language is Set

If you mistakenly select the wrong language in the [Language/u] screen and proceed to the [Date Adjustment] screen, you can perform the following operation to set the language back.

If you have proceeded to switch the camera to Capture mode (and the camera is ready to take a picture), perform the following operation from Step 2 to set the language back.

Use the four-way controller (2345) to select the

desired language and press the 4button.

The [RSet-up 1] menu in the selected language appears.

Refer to the following pages and set the desired city for [Hometown] and the current date and time as necessary.

To change the hometown: “Setting the World Time” (p.270)

To change the date and time: “Changing the Date and Time Display” (p.270)

When the hometown and the date and time are not set, the [Initial Setting] screen or [Date Adjustment] screen will be displayed again next time the camera is turned on.

If you have not proceeded to the [Date Adjustment] screen, you can reselect a language using the four-way controller (5) in the [Language/u] screen.
