Taking Pictures of People (Portrait Mode/Kids Mode)

4	In	(Portrait mode) and		(Kids mode), “Face Recognition AF” and “Face
Taking	Recognition AE” are activated. When you point the camera at your subject’s face,
	the camera automatically recognizes it, adjusting both focus and exposure.
		Portrait	Lets you take portraits with spatial effect, by emphasizing the
Pictures			person.
		Kids	Ideal for taking pictures of moving children. Also gives them a
			healthy look.

		Press the four-way controller (3) in Capture mode.

The Mode Palette appears.

2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select (Portrait mode).

When (Kids mode) is previously selected, is displayed on the Mode Palette. Select (Kids mode) then.

3 Press the OK button.

4 Press the four-way controler (23) to select (Portrait mode) or (Kids mode).
