Setting the Sensitivity

Sensitivity (ISO sensitivity) is a value indicating how much the CCD senses light. Low value equals low sensitivity, and high value equals high sensitivity. Sensitivity can be adjusted according to the shooting situations.

Sensitivity

The camera automatically selects the sensitivity from 64, 100, 200, 400

AUTO

and 800. (In Blur reduction mode, 1600 is also selectable.)

You can also set ISO Correction in AUTO to 64 - 100, 64 - 200, 64 - 400,

or 64 - 800. (In Blur reduction mode, 64 - 1600 is also selectable.)

64

At lower sensitivity, images are sharper and noise is reduced, but the

100

shutter speed will be slower under dark conditions.

200

At higher sensitivity, the shutter speed can be fastened under dark

conditions, but noise will increase.
