Het bevel “blijf”

1.Breng een afzonderlijke, niet-metalen halsband aan op de nek van uw huisdier BOVEN de halsbandontvanger en bevestig een lijn van 3 meter. Opmerking: zorg ervoor dat de extra halsband geen druk uitoefent op de contactpunten.

2.Bepaal waar u uw huisdier wilt doen zitten door zijn kussen of een groot stuk doek op de grond te plaatsen.

3.Plaats uw huisdier op zijn kussen. Houd uw lijn in een hand en de afstandszender in de andere hand.

4.Blijf op een afstand van ongeveer 1 meter en wandel rond het kussen. Zeg niets tegen uw huisdier.

5.Als uw huisdier het kussen probeert te verlaten, houd u de zijknop ingedrukt om een geluidssignaal te sturen naar uw huisdier terwijl u “blijf” zegt en leid zo nodig uw huisdier terug naar zijn kussen.

6.Laat onmiddellijk de zijknop los zodra uw huisdier naar zijn kussen terugkeert en beloon hem enthousiast.

7.Nadat uw huisdier gaat zitten, laat u hem los en speelt u kalm met hem.

8.Herhaal stap 3 tot 7 verschillende keren.

9.Als uw huisdier goed gaat zitten na het ontvangen van het geluidssignaal en het gesproken bevel “blijf”, is de africhting voltooid. Laat uw huisdier los en beloon hem. Ga anders naar stap 10.

10.Plaats uw huisdier op zijn kussen en wandel rond het kussen zoals voorheen.

11.Wacht tot uw huisdier het kussen probeert te verlaten. Gebruik het herkenningsniveau voor uw huisdier, houd de bovenste knop ingedrukt om een geluidssignaal en stimulans naar uw huisdier te sturen terwijl u “blijf” zegt en leid zo nodig uw huisdier terug naar zijn kussen.

12.Laat onmiddellijk de bovenste knop los zodra uw huisdier naar zijn kussen terugkeert en beloon

hem enthousiast.

13.Nadat uw huisdier gaat zitten, laat u hem los en speelt u kalm met hem.

14.Herhaal stap 10 tot 13 verschillende keren.

15.Als uw huisdier nu goed gaat zitten na het ontvangen van een geluidssignaal en stimulans met het gesproken bevel “blijf”, is hij nu mogelijk klaar om te reageren zonder stimulans. Neem een pauze en ga vervolgens terug en herhaal vanaf stap 3 met alleen het geluidssignaal.
