Computer connection issues
The computer display on the monitor is not
stable:
Check that a suppor ted resolution an d
refresh rate i s selected on the compute r.
Set the monitor pi cture format to
unscaled.

If the problem re mains unresolved, cont act
Philips Consumer C are in your country as
listed in this Use r Manual.
Warning
Do not attempt to repair t he monitor yourse lf.

damage to your moni tor or void your warr anty.
Note
Make a note of your monitor mode l and serial
number before yo u contact Philips . These
numbers are p rinted on the back of t he
monitor and on th e packaging.
Sound issues
There is a picture but no sound from the
monitor:
Note
If no audio signal is detec ted, the monitor
automatical ly switches the aud io output off —
this does not indicate malfunction.
Check that all cabl es are properly
connected.
Check that the volum e is not set to 0.
Check that the soun d is not muted.
There is a picture but the sound quality is
poor:
Check that the soun d settings are
correctly set.
There is a picture but sound comes from one
speaker only:
Verify that sound b alance is set to the
center.
HDMI connection issues
There are problems with HDMI devices:
Note that HDCP supp ort can delay
the time taken for a m onitor to display
content from an HD MI device.
If the monitor doe s not recognise the
HDMI device and no pi cture is displayed,
try switch ing the source from one devi ce
to another and back ag ain.
If there are inte rmittent sound
disruptions , check that output set tings
from the HDMI de vice are correct.
If an HDMI-to -DVI adaptor or HDMI
to DVI cable is used, ch eck that an
additional audio cable is possible could be
connected to PC AUDIO IN (mini-jack
only).
