CLOSE CAPTIONING

Close Captioning (CC) allows you to read the voice content of television programs on the TV screen. Designed to help the hearing impaired, this feature uses onscreen “text boxes” to show dialogue and conversations while the TV

program is in progress.

Press the CC button to display the current Closed Caption settings.

Press the CC button repeatedly to choose from the four Closed Caption options (CC Off, CC1, CC Mute).

When finished, press the STATUS/EXIT button on the remote control to remove the menu from the TV screen.

HELPFUL HINTS

You will not be able to see Close Captions if the broadcaster does not provide Close Captioning text with the program that is transmitted.

SLEEPTIMER

Te SleepTimer feature allows you to set a timer to automatically turn the TV off after a period of time you choose 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180 or 240 minutes.

1Press SLEEP button on the remote control to display the sleeptimer menu.

2Press SLEEP button on the remote control to select the amount of time (15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180 or 240 minutes) before the TV automatically switches Off.

NOTE: An onscreen countdown will appear during the last minute before the TV switches

Off. If any button is pressed during the last minute of the countdown, the Sleep Timer setting will be cancelled.
