Computer connection issues
The computer display on the TV is not stable:
Check that a supported resolution and
refresh r ate is selected on the com puter.
Set the TV picture format to unscaled.

Note
Make a note of your T V model and seria l
number befo re you contact Phil ips. These
number s are printed on the ba ck of the TV
and on the pac kaging.
The picture position is incorrect:
Picture s ignals from some devices may
not fit the screen correctly. Check the
signal out put of the devi ce.
Sound issues
There is a picture but sound quality is poor:
Note
If no audio sig nal is detected, t he TV
automati cally switches th e audio output off
— this does not i ndicate malfunc tion.
Check that all cables are properly
connected.
Check that the volume is not set to 0.
Check that the sound is not muted.
There is a picture but the sound quality is
poor:
Check that the sound settings are
correc tly set.
There is a picture but sound comes from one
speaker only:
Verify that s ound balance is set to the
centre.
HDMI connection issues
There are problems with HDMI devices:
Note that HDC P support can delay th e
time taken fo r a TV to display co ntent
from a HDM I device.
If the TV do es not recognize the HDMI
device and no pic ture is displayed, tr y
switchin g the source fr om one device to
another and b ack again.
If there ar e intermittent so und
disruptions, check that output settings
from the HD MI device are correc t.
If a HDMI- to-DVI adaptor or HDMI to
DVI cable is used, check that an additional
audio cable is connected to AUDIO L/R
or AUDIO IN (mini-jack only).
