brightness of the TV ba cklight to

[MPEG artifact reduc tion]• Smoothes
out transitions on di gital pictures. You
can switch this featur e on or off.
[Colour enhancement] • Makes
colours more vivid and im proves the
resolution of details i n bright colours.

[Energy saving] • Applies low-energ y
picture settings .
4 Press OK to conrm your choice.

Manually adjust Picture settings

1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Picture].
3 Press to select one of the
following picture set tings.
• [Smart picture] Accesses pr e-dened
smart picture s ettings.
• [Contrast] A djusts the intensit y of bright
areas, keeping dar k areas unchanged.
• [Brightness] Adjusts the intensit y and
details of dark area s.
• [Colour] Adjusts colour saturatio n.
• [Hue] Compensates co lour variations in
NTSC encoded transmis sions.
