provided by digital TV service operators to
decode digital TV channels.

operator on how to inser t a smart car d into
the Conditional Acces s Module.

Insert and activate a CAM
Caution
Be sure to follow the inst ructions desc ribed •
below. Wrong inserti on of a CAM may
damage both the CAM and y our TV.
1 Switch off the TV.
2 Following the directi ons printed on the
CAM, gently inser t the CAM into the
COMMON INTERFACE at the side of t he
TV.
3 Push the CAM in as far as i t will go.
4 Turn on the TV and wait for the C AM to be
activated. This may ta ke several minutes. Do
not remove the CAM from th e slot when
in use — removing the CAM wi ll deactivate
digital services .
Access CAM services
1 After insertin g and activating the C AM,
press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] > [Feat ures]
> [Common interface].
Applications provided by the digital TV »
service operator appear on the screen.
Note
This menu option is avail able only if the CAM •
is inserted and ac tivated correc tly.
