Use subtitles
You can enable subtitles for each TV channel.
Subtitles are broadcast via Teletext or DVB-T
digital broadcasts. With digital broadcasts,
you have the additional option of selecting a
preferred subtitle language.
Enable subtitles on analogue TV
channels
1 Select an analogue T V channel.
2 Press TELETEXT.
3 Enter the three-dig it page number of the
subtitle page with the N umeric buttons.
4 Press TELETEXT to switch of f Teletext.
5 Press SUBTITLE.
The »[Subtitle mode] menu appears.
6 Select [On] to display s ubtitles always or
[On during mute] to display subtit les only
when audio is muted.
7 Press OK to enable subtitle s.
Note
Repeat this procedur e to enable subtitl es on •
each analogue channel .
Tip
Select •[Subtitle mode] > [Off ] to disable
subtitles.
Enable subtitles on digital TV channels
1 When watching digital c hannels, press
SUBTITLE.
The »[Subtitle mode] menu appears.
2 Select [On] to display s ubtitles always or
[On during mute] to display subtit les only
when audio is muted.
3 Press OK to enable subtitle s.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Features] > [Sleep timer].
The bar appears.. »
3 Press to set the sleep time.
The Sleep timer can be up to 180 »
minutes in steps of ve minutes. If set
to zero minutes, the Sleep timer is
switched off..
4 Press OK to activate th e Sleep timer.
The TV switches to standby after the »
pre-dened period of time.
Alarm (On timer)
You can switch the TV to a speci ed channel
at a specied time, from s tandby or power-on
mode.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Feature s] > [On timer].
3 Press OK or to enter the [On timer]
menu.
[Activate] Selects the fr equency to •
[Off] or [Once] or [D aily].
[Time] Sets the star ting time to switc h •
on the TV automatica lly.
[Programme • no.] Selects th e channel.
4 Press EXIT to exit.
Tip
Select •[On timer] > [Activat e] > [Off] to
disable [On timer].
