ACTIVE CONTROL™OPTIONS
The Active Control monitors and adjusts
incoming video signals to help provide the
best picture quality. When you choose to turn the
Active Control On, the picture sharpness and
noise reduction are controlled automatically.
Active Control adjusts these picture settings con-
tinuously and automatically.

Press the MENU button on the remote to show
the onscreen menu.

Press the CURSOR UP qqor DOWN uu
buttons to scroll through the onscreen menu
until the word Features is highlighted.

Press the CURSOR RIGHT rrbutton to dis
-play the Features menu.

Press the CURSOR UP qqor DOWN uu
buttons to repeatedly until Active Control is
highlighted.

Press the CURSOR RIGHT rror CURSOR
LEFT ssbuttons to toggle the Active Control
to On, Off, or Light Sensor

When finished, press the STATUS /EXIT
button to remove the onscreen menu from the
TV’s screen.

When the option “Light Sensor”
is selected, the picture will be
adjusted automatically according
to the ambient light of the room.
When the lighting in the room is
dim, the brightness of the picture
will be decreased. When the
lightning in the room is bright, the
brightness of the picture will be
increased.
