Update software (analogue
broadcasts)
Before you per form this procedur e, make sure
you have:
= Enough time t o complete the entire
update.
= A USB stor age device with at leas t 64MB
of storage s pace.
= Access to a compu ter with a US B port
and inter net access.
1 Switch on the T V set.
2 Connect t he USB storage device to t he
TV.
3 Press to select [Setup] >
[Software update] > [Local update].
4 Press OK.
5 Follow the on-s creen instruct ions to
complete th e softwa re update.
Change TV preferences
The [Preferences] menu allows you to
customise various features and functions.
1 Press (Home).
2 Select [Setup] > [Installation] >
[Preferences].
= [Location] : Optimises TV s ettings
for your locatio n - home or shop.
= [Volume bar] : Displays the volum e
bar when you adj ust the volum e.
= [EasyLink] : Enables one-touch play
and one-tou ch standby between
EasyLink-compliant devices.
= [Pixel Plus Link] : Overrides the
setting s of connected devices and
uses the settings of the TV.
= [E-sticker] : For shop mode only.
Sets the loc ation of the e-sticker.
2 Press (Home).
»The home menu appears.
3 Press to select [Browse USB].
4 Press to navigate to th e picture of
your choice.
5 Press SCENEA.
»Your picture is stored as the default
Scenea picture in your TV.
6 Disconnec t the USB storage devi ce.
Adjust wallpaper settings
1 Press (Home).
2 Select [Setup] > [Features] > [Scenea].
3 Press to select fr om the following
settings:
= [Activ ate] : En ters the Sce nea mode.
= [ECO] : Applies low-en ergy settings .
Select [On] to display wa llpaper wi th
lower brightness.
Note
= Select t he [ECO] setting before you se lect
[Activ ate] to display Scenea wallpaper.

Check the current software version
1 Press (Home).
2 Select [Setup] > [Software update] >
[Current software].
Download the software
1 On your PC, o pen a web browse r and go
to www.philips.com/support.
2 Download the la test software up grade
