Risk of damage to the TV!
Before you connect the T V to th e power outlet, ensu re that
the power voltage matches the value printed on th e back of
the TV. N ever connect the TV to the power outlet if the
voltage i s differe nt.
Risk of injury to children!
Follow these precau tions to pre vent t he T V from topplin g over
and caus ing inj ury to chi ldren:
Never place the TV on a surface covered by a cloth or other
material that can be pulled away.
Ensure that no part of the TV hangs over the edge of the
mounting surface.
Never place the TV on tall furniture, such as a bookcase,
without anchoring both the furnitu re and TV to the wall or a
suitable support.
Teach children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to
reach t he TV .
Risk of swallowing batteries!
The remote control may contain coin-type batteries which can
easily be swallowed by small children. Keep these batteries out
of reac h of ch ildre n at all ti mes .
Risk of o verheating!
Never install the TV in a confined space. Always leave a space
of at least 10 cm or 4 inches around the TV for ventilation.
Ensure curtains or other objects never cover the ventilation
slots on the TV.
Lightning storms
Discon nect the TV from the power outlet and an tenn a before
lightning storms. During lightning storms, never touch any part
of the TV, powe r cord or anten na cab le.
Risk of he aring damage!
Avoid using earphones or headphones at high volumes or for
prolonged periods of time.
Low temperatures
If the TV is transported in tem peratures below 5°C or 41°F,
unpack the TV and wait until the TV temperature reaches
room te mperature before connecti ng the TV to the pow er
outle t.
Screen care
Never touch, push, rub or strike the screen with any object.
Unplug the TV before cleaning.
Clean the TV and frame with a soft damp cloth and wipe
gently. Avoid t ouching th e Ambi light L ED's on t he backs ide of
the TV. N ever use substances such as alcohol, chemicals or
household cleaners on the TV.
To avoid deformations and colour fading, wipe off water drops
as qu ickly as possibl e.
Avoid stationary images as much as possible. Stationary
images are images that remain onscreen for extended periods
of tim e. Station ary im ages incl ude on scree n m enus , bla ck bars ,
time displays, etc. If you must use s tationary images, reduce
screen contrast and brightness to avoid screen damage.
Temperature and humidity
In rare occasions, depe nding on temperature and hu midity,
minor condensation can occur on the inside of the TV glass
front (on som e mode ls). To p revent this , do not ex pose the
TV to direct sunlight, heat or extreme humidity. If
condensation occurs, it wi ll disappe ar spontaneously while the
TV is playing for a few hours. The condensation moisture will
not harm the TV or cause malfunction.
