PRONTO REMOTE ATSC DIGITAL FEATURES

PRONTO - DIGITAL TV MODE

The Pronto remote contains touchscreen displays for

“DTV” related controls. Use the

Pronto’s touchscreen buttons to

access and adjust the DPTV for

dedicated ATSC mode features, as

well as perform on-screen Menu adjustments and select other

program functions.

Press to freeze or stop the current picture on the DPTV screen.

Program sound will continue to play. Repress the freeze button, or

Press two number buttons to select single digit “major” DTV channels. Use a four-digit channel entry to select ATSC system “sub-channel” programs, for example: press “0, 6, 0, 1” for sub-channel 6.01. (See page 5 in the 64PH9905 Quick Use guide for details on the use and selection of sub-channels.)

Alternate Audio preference: English

*The “alt(ernate) audio” button on the Pronto remote allows the user to select a language preference for multilingual or alternate language audio track programs that may be received for DTV viewing. (English is the default language setting.)

When digital broadcast material is received which contains multiple language soundtracks the DPTV will identify, find, and then select the preferred alternate audio language for sound playback. If the selected language preference is not available within the received program material, the default audio language is then selected.
