1 During playback, press [PAUSE F]. Play will pause and sound will be muted.

You can resume play from where you stopped playing the disc last.

1 During playback, press [STOP C]. The resume message will appear.

Resume ON

2 Press [PLAY B].

In a few seconds, play will resume from the point at which it stopped last. You can resume play at the same point even if you turn off the unit.

To cancel the resume play and start playing the disc from the beginning, press [STOP C] the second time while the play is stopped.

Helpful Hint

•On DVDs, set “Still Mode” to “Field” in the Setup menu

if pictures in the pause mode are blurred. (Refer to page 90.)

Helpful Hints

•For MP3, Windows Media™ Audio and JPEG files, playback will resume from the beginning of the track at which playback was stopped.

•Some Video CDs with the PBC function resume playback from the beginning of the track.
