Video setup
1 Press .
»[General Setup] menu is displayed.
2 Press to select [Video Setup], and then
press to enter the sub menu.
3 Select an option, and then pr ess OK.
4 Select a setting, and then p ress OK.

To exit the menu, press • .
[TV System]
Change this setting if the video does not appear
correctly. By defaul t, this setting m atches the most
common setting for T Vs in your country.
• [PAL] - For a PAL-system TV.
• [Multi] - For TV that is compatible w ith both
PAL and NTSC.
• [NTSC] - For an NTSC-system T V.
[TV Display]
Select a display form at:
• [4:3 Pan Scan] - For a 4:3 screen T V: full-height
display with the trimmed sides.
[Analogue Output]
Select an analogue s etting based on th e audio
device that is connected through the analogue
audio jack.
• [LT/RT] - For the surround sound output
through two speaker s.
• [Stereo] - For the stereo output .
[Digital Audio]
Select a digital se tting based on the d igital amplifie r/
receiver that is connec ted through the digi tal jack
(coaxial/digital).
• [Digital Output] - Select a type of digi tal output.
• [All] - Support mu lti-channel au dio
formats.
• [Off] - Disable d igital output .
• [PCM Only] - Downmix to two-channel
audio format.
• [LPCM Output] - Selec t the LPCM (Linear
Pulse Code Modulation) ou tput sampling r ate.
• [48kHZ] - For di scs recorded at sam pling
rate of 48 kHz.
• [96kHZ] - For discs recorded at sa mpling
rate of 96 kHz.
Note
• [L PCM Output] set ting is only ava ilable if the [Digital
Output] is set to [PCM Only].

[Volume]
Set the default volume l evel when you play a disc.
1. Press OK.
2. Press to set the volume.
3. Press OK to confirm and exit.
[Sound Mode]
Select a preset soun d effect to enhance t he audio
output.
• [3D] - Select a virtual su rround sound eff ect
that is produced from th e left and right au dio
channels.
• [Movie Mode] - Select a sound effect f or movies.
• [Music Mode] - Select a sound effec t for music.
[CD Upsampling]
For better sound qual ity in stereo mo de, convert
the music CD to a higher sa mpling rate.
• [Off] - Turn off CD- upsampling.
• [88.2kHz] - Convert to twice th e original
sampling rate.
• [176.4kHz] - Convert t o four times the origi nal
sampling rate.
