Flushing the coffee machine

If you have not used the coffee machine for one

day, you have to flush the machine with fresh water

before you use the machine again.

To flush the boiler, brew two cups of hot water in

the following way:

1Fill the water reservoir with cold water at least up to the MIN level and put it back into the machine.

2Put the 1-cup pod holder q or the 2-cup pod holder qq in the machine without pod(s).

3Close the lid and lock the lever.

4Put two cups or a bowl under the coffee spout to collect the water.

5Press the on/off button 3.

,, The light ring flashes slowly while the water heats up. Heating up takes approx. 75 seconds.

,, The coffee machine is ready for use when the light ring lights up continuously.

6Press the 2-cup button qq to brew two cups of hot water.

7Throw away this water. Now the machine is ready for use again.
